Last week I received an email from a Bride whose Wedding I shot last year to ask whether she might use one of her Wedding Photos to run alongside an article she was writng for the Daily Mail on 'Finding the Perfect Man'. The article is a fun read and I'm so glad Bridget, finally found her perfect man and chose me to document their Wedding for them.

A few weeks ago I shot a Wedding for my good friends Jon and Kat at the Saunton Sands Golf Club in North Devon. The weather was absolutely dreadful but I'm always keen for a challenge. The wind actually made for some really fun shots and we were blessed with a small window of good weather when the sunset. Jon, or JC as we know him, runs a local art gallery called the JC Gallery He's been selling a lot of my Ltd Editon prints of North Devon landscapes recently and it was an absolute pleasure to return some of his good will. Here's a fairly large selection of images I liked from their Big Day.

Here's a short slideshow featuring some of my favourites from Ivan and Gemma's wedding at Cripps Barn last month.

I've been slacking a bit on the blogging front, as I've been desperately trying to clear the backlog from the summer before Christmas. Anyway here are a few images from Marc and Laura's Wedding back at the start of September. They were married at Chelsea Registry Office and had a small reception at the intimate Cheyne Walk Brasserie by the River Thames.

I had the pleasure of spending the day yesterday with Carl and Lucy photographing their Wedding which was held at 'The Deck', situated on the roof of the National Theatre in London. Carl is from New Zealand and unfortunately his mother was not able to attend the Wedding. I promised to send them on their honeymoon to NZ with a few images to show her so here they are.

Here are some images from Enda and Liz's Wedding at Blenheim Palace which I can't believe was only a few weeks ago (I've shot 5 Weddings since in what has been a 9 Wedding month) Liz and Enda's Wedding was, despite being a dream to photograph, a meeting of old friends. I knew Liz and her Bridesmaid Gemma when I was 16 and hadn't seen either of them for nearly 10 years. I also got to work with my good friend Alex Baxter who had been hired to shoot the Wedding Video. Here's a few of my favourite images.

Simon and Zoey were married yards away from Simon's family home in Farway in Devon. During the service just as the Bride and Groom uttered the words 'I will' one of the younger members of the congregation broke the silence, piping up with the imortal words of 'What's she doing mummy?' The whole church erupted into laughter and set the tone for a most enjoyable day. Here are some of my favourites

Steve and Emma got married at the Newbury Manor Hotel in Berkshire. They had found me through my younger brother Richard who was also the Hairdresser and chief Bubble Blower for the day. A large Bouncy Castle in the shape of a Purple Dragon kept the small army of kids entertained during the reception and as the Pimms took effect many of the adults!

The Saturday before last I had the pleasure of photographing Warren and Donna's Wedding at Cockhaven Manor in Bishopsteignton near Teignmouth. It was the first Wedding of what is going to be a very busy month for me with 9 Weddings booked in before the 31st. Got to love a challenge! Here are some of my favourite images from the day.

Dan and Karen were married at Dartmouth House in Mayfair, London on Saturday. Karen lectures in Fashion at the University of East London and Dan is a photographer (Pixelate) which while it is very flattering that they should choose me to photograph their Wedding also adds just a little bit of extra pressure! That said they were both fantastic subjects and we had a really fun if not slightly emotional day.

The girls got ready in the Powder Rooms in Shoreditch which was a dream location to photograph, a 50's style Salon with mirrors everywhere.

Not that the traffic is ever plain sailing in Central London but the with 'Gay Pride' in full flow the extra  congestion made for a tense taxi drive to the Ceremony.

Rob and Helen got married on what I think was the hottest day of year so far, lets just say I shed a few pounds running round and jumping on tables! For two Animal lovers Clifton Pavilion was the perfect reception venue as it backs onto Bristol Zoo and the guests are given free access to the site. Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to photograph them riding a tiger or wrestling with the gorrillas but they will have plenty of oppourtunity to make up for this on their Honeymoon on Safari in Africa.
